If a spider walks into a stream of thick sap he will almost definitely get sealed inside and die while the sap dries. His legs will be curled in different directions. A 54 year-old engineer in New Zealand will cut the spider out of the sap, polish the amber into a rounded stone in his garage, and then sell it to average built men on the internet :
